You are expertly looked after!!
"You are expertly looked after!! Elleke will meet you at a location of your choice whether it be your hotel or at a bike rental shop (VeloRent is very good!) and then she takes you on a 2.5 hour whistlestop tour of Eindhoven where you see all the best bits and she does ask you if there’s anything in particular you want to see. The Philips family is very dominant in this town and we see the factories where they used to produce things which have now been turned into other workspaces. Plus the houses that were built for the Philips workers, the PSV stadium, art installations in parks etc We ran overtime by half an hour as we had a leisurely coffee and a nice chat! Recommended! "

Nice bike ride
"We had a great time exploring Eindhoven with Elleke. Some interesting places and lots of green space. Only downside was the bike tour was described as “with a picnic “. Half way round Elleke told us this was wrong there was no picnic and the withlocals site needs corrected. It would have been good to know this in advance."

On the trail of Eindhoven’s best storyteller
"Lovely evening! Martin is full of energy! Once he starts the first story, he gets you until the very last! The house is also very comfy, and you will be surprised in discovering a new painting in every corner of it. Actually, you might go crazy trying to find out all the stories behind every piece of art (and they are more than 800!!).. Martin, thank you for sharing you passion for this project and keep spreading your good vibes around the world!"

On the trail of Eindhoven’s best storyteller
"We went to Martin with a few colleagues and all I can say is that it really was an evening full of "Inspirational Storytelling through Art!". Martin is a very friendly, open-minded, fun and truly engaging person. Instead of the planned hour, we spent 2 hours at his place listening to his stories. I myself come from Eindhoven, had never heard of his Inkijkmuseum before, but would definitely recommend others to go here as well. I'm sure I'll be visiting his place in the future again, as there are so much more paintings to hear great stories about. Conclusion: one of the top things to do while traveling to or living in Eindhoven!"

Bike Tour Eindhoven
"Last Saturday I experienced the bike tour of Elleke together with my mom. Elleke is a really nice and friendly host who has a lot of knowledge about Eindhoven. Besides, she has a real passion for guiding people around which makes the experience even more fun! Elleke showed us different spots in Eindhoven, she guided us around cozy neighborhoods, parks, and showed some historical buildings. Besides we enjoyed a picnic in the park with all kind of drinks and snacks. It is a really fun andhealthy way to enjoy Eindhoven!"

Bike Tour Eindhoven
"Elleke is a really nice and friendly host. The tour was well organized. Elleke showed us several historical places, parks, neighborhoods and also upcoming trendy places in Eindhoven. It is a fun way to discover Eindhoven with your family or friends and being active at the same time. I did the tour together with my daughter and we really enjoyed it together! The picnic in the park with several snacks and drinks wasone of my highlights, really relaxing. And I really liked the passion of Ellekein her story about Eindhoven."

On the trail of Eindhoven’s best storyteller
"His 'micro museum is really unique, you can see' painting made by artist from everywhere with the same theme: show your hope. Martin, the creator of his project, is constantly receiving new paintings so everyday he has a different exhibition. The best thing about this exhibition are certainly the stories behind every painting. Martin knows every single story about every painting and always were really interesting. He was picking all the time a random painting and then telling us the incredible story behind, we were catching our attention all the time. I definitely met the best storyteller ever!"

Bike Tour Eindhoven
"The bike tour was a really enjoyable Experience. Elleke was a very friendly and open host. During the bike tour she showed me a couple of excentric places in Eindhoven. A couple of examples where she took me; An excentric hipster café/restaurant with modern but yet vintage interior, A place with some exclusively small an cool companies where you can buy design products, A small farm just outside Eindhoven with its own bio-organic shop, A place where you could play minigolf and lots more. So if you're curious about these places, you should definitely BOOK this experience! All in al it was a very educational and fun experience in Eindhoven."

On the trail of Eindhoven’s best storyteller
"The inkijkmuseum was a very inspirational and eye opening experience. There are a lot of beautifull paintings in a very small and cozy room to look at and every one of them has its own metaphorical and philosophical story behind them. Martin is the host who can tell you all of the stories behind the paintings, he is very passionate about art, philosphy and life itself. All the art paintings are all collected through his own travels and life experiences from around the world and this collection is still growing! This experience lets you think about life through art and paintings from another perspective. This was a very inspirational experience to say the least! I would recommend this experience to anyone!"

Great city tour
"Was great to get this personalized tour. Although Eindhoven is know for it's design and industrial sites it was really nice to see bits and pieces of the old historical character. Never knew Eindhoven had so much textile factories. Next to getting a more historic feel for the city it was really nice to visit some nice places to grab a local snack and beer. Thanks so much Reinoud (and Erik)! was really nice!"
